Tracy Ann (Bloemer) Vanden Heuvel

May 14, 1963 — March 21, 2018

Tracy Ann (Bloemer) Vanden Heuvel passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 21, 2018 at the age of 54 after a lifelong battle with juvenile diabetes, starting at the age of 3 years old.

Tracy is the daughter of Trudy (Reinhold) and the late Dick Bloemer. Tracy graduated from De Pere High School and received an associate’s degree from NWTC. On January 1, 2000, she married Jay Vanden Heuvel. Tracy worked her way up to department supervisor at Humana Insurance where she was employed for 15 years. In 1998 she and her husband Jay started their own business called Natural Selections, Inc.

Anyone who met Tracy could never forget her. She had the best smile and more spunk than anyone else. Tracy would always “tell it like it is” and gave the best advice, whether you needed it or not. Tracy loved working in her garden and took such pride in her beautifully landscaped yard. She loved all the deer, turkey and birds that her large yard attracted. Her backyard was her sanctuary. Christmas was Tracy’s favorite time of the year, and if it was up to her it would have been all year long. Tracy was also a huge Green Bay Packers fan and never missed a game.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Jay Vanden Heuvel. Daughters Jayna (Jesse) Van De Hey, 28, Little Chute. Jeni Vanden Heuvel, 25, Kaukauna and grandson Jordy, 3 months.
Her siblings Lynn (Bloemer) Kosky (Rob), Carl (Jenny) Bloemer and Suzy (Bloemer) Goldstine (Brian). Nephews; Godchild Cory Miller, 25. Mitchell, 17 and Aaron Goldstine 13. Nieces; Richelle, 12 and Lauren 9, Bloemer. Special family friend Bud Mayville (Trudy). In-laws; Joe and Karen Vanden Heuvel, Dave and Jan Vanden Heuvel, Sue Vande Heuvel and Steve Magolski and Rick and Jean Vanden Heuvel.

Tracy was preceded in death by her father Dick Bloemer, mother and father in-law Rich and Lois Vanden Heuvel and Dave Vanden Heuvel.

Friends and family may call on Sunday, March 25, from 1-4pm with celebration of life and story-telling at 4pm at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere.
