Thomas F Manders

Thomas Manders, age 61 of Greenleaf, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born on April 9, 1957 to the late Manfred and Irene (Van De Walle) Manders in Green Bay. He graduated from Wrightstown High School and continued his education throughout his 42-year career with Ariens Company. On August 25, 1984 Thomas married Delores Des Jardin. Tom enjoyed his garden, growing popcorn, pumpkins and vegetables, he loved tinkering and fixing things, making work easier with his inventions. If he couldn’t fix it, no one could. He especially loved spending time with his family, grandson and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Delores, sons; Sean (Natasha) Manders and Benjamin (Chrisanna) Manders, grandson William and a granddaughter on the way, brothers and sisters; Norbert (Janice) Manders, Elaine (Jim) Lutz, Wilbert (Betty) Manders, Rosemary (Bernard) Kane, Pat (Gene) Beatty, Helen (Mark) Matzke, Edward (Debbie) Manders, Rueben (Sue) Manders, Ken Manders, Robert (Connie) Manders, Lorraine (Jeff) Trochta, Bernard (Shari) Manders, brother in law, Richard Moens as well as Delores’s siblings, five brothers, four sisters, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Don and sister Darlene.

Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Parish St. Patrick site, 7830 St. Pats Church Road, Greenleaf, 54126 from 9:30am to 10:45am, Wednesday, January 2, 2019, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am, Fr. Brian Wideman officiating. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Bellin Cancer Center, Dr. Kevin Mortara and Dr. Adam Liss, Unity Hospice and special thanks to Cotter Funeral Home. Also, a very special thanks to friends and family that helped Tom’s family get through this difficult time.
