Thomas Beauchamp

July 2, 1937 — March 26, 2022

Thomas Phillip Beauchamp was called to eternal rest Saturday March 26, 2022, at home, surrounded by his family.

Tom was born on July 2, 1937, in Escanaba, Michigan and grew up in Wells, Michigan.
Following high school, Tom enlisted in the US Army and eventually moved back to Upper Michigan where he sailed the Great Lakes while working for Inland Steel on the EJ Block ore boat. His employment also included working at the UPCO Power Plant, working as a carpenter, and as an HVAC technician. Tom’s hobbies included camping, fishing, woodworking, and building and flying model airplanes. He enjoyed the many years he and Bev shared as snowbirds in Lady Lake, Florida. Tom also loved spending time with his grandchildren. Tom was known as “Mr. Fixit.” he could build and fix anything, including his home in Escanaba and a multitude of woodworking projects through the years. Tom took pride in maintaining his 1972 Cub Cadet lawn tractor, which is still running to this day. Tom married Beverly Plouff on February 27, 1960, in Escanaba. For the past five years Tom and Bev lived in Green Bay where they relocated to be closer to their children.

Survivors include his wife Beverly, son Terry (Brenda) Beauchamp of Two Rivers, WI, daughters Linda (John) Siegworth of Green Bay, WI, and Lisa (Scott) Sanger of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; grandchildren include Rachel Beauchamp, Haley & Hannah Siegworth, and Kiana Sanger; sister Susan, brothers Norbert and Donald, many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his infant son (Scott), his parents, sisters Geraldine and Marian, and brothers Roger and Wayne.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Unity Hospice for their wonderful support and care.

A private Celebration of Life was held with Tom’s immediate family, as per his wishes. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
