Suzanne "Sue" Cotter

Suzanne “Sue” Cotter, age 72, of Green Bay, joined her husband James and niece Amanda in heaven on October 13, 2018. The daughter of the late Ralph and Mabel Bentley was born December 8, 1945. She married James W. Cotter, Jr. and he preceded her in death in 2015. Sue worked for many years at St. Norbert College and then for Brown County, from which she retired.
Survivors include her daughter Melissa Chipman and son Daniel Chipman; beloved granddaughter Lauren Piumbroeck; siblings: Donna, Dick (Ireta), Patricia, Tom (Bev) and Roger (Denise); James’s mother, Elaine Cotter; James’s siblings: Dan (Karen), Mary Jo, Jean (Dennis) and Mike (JoAnn) as well as nieces and nephews: Michael (Nina), Nick (Koren), Matt (Ashley), Katie (Rolando), Eric (Lisa) and Alayna (fiancé Adam); Lauren’s father, Rick Piumbroeck, other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband James, mother and father and a niece Amanda.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Wednesday, October 17, from 3-6pm. Funeral service will be held at 6:00pm at the funeral home followed by a light reception.
