Suzanne K. Rogers

April 21, 1929 — December 10, 2023

Suzanne K. Rogers passed away peacefully on Sunday December 10, 2023, at the Courtyard at Bellevue.

Suzanne was born April 21, 1929, in Maplewood, New Jersey. Daughter to the late William & Constance Knox. Suzanne attended Columbia High School & Centenary College both in New Jersey.

Suzanne’s greatest joy in life was her family and extended family, which was anyone with a child that needed some extra loving care. Give Sue five minutes and she would give you a breakdown of all her kids and grandchildren and great grandchildren and just how wonderful each one of them was.

Suzanne enjoyed summers at the family cottage. Her trips to Norway were always a topic for conversation, and her many trips to Maine to be with her brother and family were some of her fondest memories. Sue cherished her beloved golden retrievers Java and Cody. She spent hours on the Fox River Trail walking, or you could see her driving around town with her golden doing her errands for the day.

Suzanne taught preschool at Happy Hour Nursery School for many years, even getting to teach her grandson Sam which brought her great joy. She loved hearing years later how her preschool kids were doing and took pride knowing she gave them their start in education.

Suzanne loved her church and was very active in Talbot Circle and any activity that might need her help. You could always find her in the back row with her special friends on Sundays.

Suzanne is survived by her children Keith (Sherri), Janesville, Scott (Helle), Oslo, Norway, Carol (Glenn), DePere, Kent, DePere.

Grandchildren: Kyle & Brooke Rogers, Kaja & Karen Rogers, Sam Hutjens

Great Grandchildren: Ada, Iben, Elijah

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents William and Constance Knox Sr. Her beloved bother and sister-in-law, William and Eleanor Knox Jr., and cherished Goldens Java and Cody.
