Susan A. Brennan, 45, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. She was born June 12, 1965 in Green Bay, daughter of James and Lois Brennan. She graduated from De Pere High School, and worked at Brennan Buick in the Body Shop Department, with her brother, Dan, for many years. She loved animals, and volunteered her time at the Wildlife Sanctuary, where she helped rescue animals. She enjoyed crossword and computer games and she was happiest when she received her pilot’s license to fly. Susan also enjoyed watching thunderstorms. Survivors include her father, Jim Brennan, De Pere; her children, Tyler Brennan, De Pere, Charlie Thomas, De Pere; brothers and sisters: Mike (Patty) Brennan, De Pere, Patsy “Plee” Brennan, Appleton, Dan Brennan, De Pere, and Bill Brennan, De Pere; and significant other, Larry Thomas, De Pere; and other family and friends. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Lois. Family and friends may call Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Mary Catholic Community, Pope John XXIII Circle, Town of Ledgeview, off Sportsman Drive. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at church, with the Rev. John H. Harper officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere. Cotter Funeral Home, De Pere, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
