Stephen Soquet

November 30, 1953 — November 27, 2022

Stephen Ray Soquet, age 68, of De Pere, lost his battle with cancer on November 27, 2022 at his home. The son of Harold and Mary (Greenhagen) Soquet was born November 30, 1953 in Missouri. He married Dina Bilotti on May 24, 1980 at St. Mary Church in De Pere and together they had two sons, who Steve passed his work ethic down to. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as going out for breakfast. Family was important to Steve, and his granddaughters affectionately named him “Grandpa Silly.” All he was worried about during this rough time was making sure his wife Dina was taken care of. His last breath was used to tell her “I love you”.

Steve is survived by his wife, Dina; sons: Nick (Katie) and their daughters: Giana and Brina, and Anthony (Alyssa) who have a baby boy on the way; sister: Linda (Ed) Schumann of Texas; brother: Mark (Anita) Soquet of Alaska; in-laws: Debbie Geurts, Marc (Kate) Bilotti, Teresa (Jim) Williquette, Laura Bilotti, Pam Bilotti (Mike Pufaul), as well as his dog “Lacy.”

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Elaine; in-laws Ray and June Bilotti (which he considered like his own parents); brothers-in-law: James Bilotti and Mike Geurts.

Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Thursday, December 1, from 3-6pm.

In lieu of flowers, raise a can of Busch Light and tell a “Steve Joke” in his honor.
