Stephen "Chunk" St. Peter

Stephen A. “Chunk” St. Peter, 35, Maribel, passed away as a result of a motor vehicle accident Monday morning, August 13, 2012. He was born in Green Bay on September 19, 1976, a son of Charles R. “Chuck” and Elizabeth A. “Betsy” (Lindberg) St. Peter, Sr. He attended Denmark High School. Stephen married Cheryl A. Ruttner in Manitowoc on June 24, 2003. He was currently employed by Little Rapids Corp., Green Bay (Larsen Converting Co.). He was a member of Hope Community Church, Two Rivers, and enjoyed going to services with his family. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and had installed a side car. Chunk especially enjoyed spending time with his wife and children - fishing, boating, camping, shopping, playing games, cooking, as well as grilling and watching movies outside, and taking them on Harley rides. Chunk is survived by his wife, Cheryl; five children: Timothy, Sophia, Olivia, Stephanie, and Nathaneal; his parents: Chuck and Betsy St. Peter, Sr.; brothers Chuck, Jr. and Corey (Debbie) St. Peter; sister: Becky (T.J.) Hampton II. Also surviving are his father-in-law: Dennis (Kathy) Ruttner, Sr., sisters-in-law: Sandy and Connie Ruttner; brother-in-law: Dennis Ruttner Jr.; step sisters-in-law: Amanda and Samantha Schnell; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; his mother-in-law, Theresa (Bitto) Ruttner; and uncle, Jim Lindberg. R, Denmark, on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted during the visitation on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. John Aitken, pastor of Hope Community Church, Two Rivers, officiating. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 17th, from 9:00 a.m. until time of procession to St. James Catholic Cemetery, Cooperstown, for the committal service that will be held at 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotter-funeralhome.com.
