Shirley Bersch

Shirley M. Bersch, age 87, of De Pere, passed away February 16, 2024. The daughter of the late Otto and Marie (Fischer) Lambrecht was born July 20, 1936. She met Ronald Bersch and was married November 5, 1955. Ronald passed away on February 5, 1998, but Shirley was blessed to find love and companionship again with Pat Bailey for over 20 years.

Shirley was fun-loving and enjoyed having a beverage with family and friends at several local establishments, particularly during happy hour. She had a passion for flowers and gardening, and even worked at several local florists. Her favorite job, however, was working at the Satellite Supper Club at the airport and the gift shop, where she was able to entertain and make many new friends. Her dog, Misty, and her family were very dear to her. Shirley kept an impeccably clean household and took tremendous pride in her home.

Survivors include her children: Brian Bersch, Vicki Gilson, Tracy (Diane Orlando) Bersch; grandchildren: Kristine Gilson, Kathryn Gilson, Kyle Bersch and Dylan Bersch; her partner, Pat Bailey and his children: Patricia Houston, Jennifer (Jay) Swoboda; grandchildren Bailey (Joshua) Loquai, Shae (fiancé Tyler Vacek) Houston, Chloe (Trevor) McKeone and Alex Swoboda

Per Shirley’s wishes, private services have been held.
