Sherry Toseland

Sherry Kay (Erichsen) Toseland (1963 2022) WRIGHTSTOWN. The Lord gained a new angel in the peaceful passing of Sherry Kay Toseland on Friday December 30, 2022. Sherry was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme in mid November. Facing her foe with courage, dignity, and grace she battled this implacable disease. She was born in Kewaunee, WI on July 7,1963. She was reborn into God’s family through Holy Baptism on July 28, 1963 and confirmed June 12, 1977. Sherry was the oldest child of William and Phyllis (Reckelberg) Erichsen. She attended Kewaunee High School and carried out a career as an Administrative Secretary at University of Wisconsin in Green Bay. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and pure joy bringer. She loved being in the outdoors in her garden as well as cooking and entertaining for her family and friends. Sherry was the true roots of her family tree. Her favorite slogan was Live, Laugh, Love.

She is survived by husband of nearly 40 years Tom Allen Toseland, son Brad Michael Toseland (Kasandra Toseland) granddaughter Keyonna, son Brett James Toseland (Brooke Toseland); grandchildren Jovani, Jelicia, Liliana, Leilani, Gabe, and Gianna. Siblings Bruce Erichsen, Janine Bowers (Steve Bowers) Kristine Bowers (Jason Bowers), sister-in-law Polly Toseland and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Martha (Mueller) Reckelberg, and Alvin and Erna (Hoffman) Erichsen; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Allen “Bud” and Laurel (Nelsen) Toseland.

Funeral services will be held at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd. R, in Denmark. Visitations Thursday January 5, 2023 from 3 to 7 PM and Friday January 6, 2023 from 9 to 10:45 AM. Funeral service at 11 AM Friday with Pastor Michael Gehl officiating. A reception will follow the service at Suster’s.
