Sandra Schneider

March 6, 1942 — July 27, 2021

Sandra Violet Schneider, 79 years old, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on March 6, 1942 in Waukesha, Wisconsin to Joseph and Violet Falter.
Sandra graduated from Waukesha High School, where she was a majorette in the high school marching band.   On June 10, 1961 she married· her high school sweetheart, Larry. They had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past June.
Sandra enjoyed watching Packers games and her cooking shows. She cherished spending time with her family playing board games, especially Yahtzee; family vacations in Eagle River and Elcho; and gatherings during the holidays when the entire family would be together. She especially enjoyed all the animals at Heather and Kirk's house while visiting their hobby farm, weekends in Door County with Jill and Arne, her visits from Cindy’s dog Axel, and living vicariously through Brittany's adventures. She also found great enjoyment in watching the various birds that visited their backyard, especially the cardinals.
More than anything, Sandra will be remembered for the unwavering love she gave to her family, especially her two granddaughters.
Life is a gift from God.  Our children, family, and friends are all gifts to be cherished. Although some days may be full of hardship and sadness, each breath, heartbeat, and thought illustrates the beautiful gift of life.
As she entered her eternal home, she leaves behind her husband Larry; her children Jill (Arne) Sandberg, Deborah (David) Duquaine, Cynthia Schneider (Mark Jacobs); her two grandchildren, Heather (Kirk) Tetzlaff and Brittany Duquaine; her siblings, Ronald (Jean) Falter, William (Karen) Orgas, and Valerie (Donald) Gottschalk.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Falter; her mother, Violet Orgas; her step father Edward Orgas; and her sister Norine Kokan.
The family is grateful for the compassionate care the Bellin nurses, therapists, and doctors provided to Sandra. We are especially thankful to Barb Gerczak for her loving help and support.
