Russell "Russ" Bowers

June 27, 1954 — December 6, 2020

Russell Bernard Bowers, age 66, died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on December 6, 2020. The son of Bud Bowers and the late Eleanor (Green) Bowers was born June 27, 1954. He was raised in Wrightstown, WI, the oldest of 12 brothers and sisters, and enjoyed growing up on the family farm. Russ was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman. Russ cherished his hunting and fishing trips with his son, dad, brothers, friends, nephews, grandsons and sons-in-law. He shared his love of fishing with many and was patient in teaching his passion to anyone who cared to learn. Russ was a proud Wrightstown Tiger, Ashwaubenon Jaguar and Hudson Raider fan, and enjoyed watching all their sporting endeavors. He coached softball, enjoyed bowling and Friday night football games with his dear friend Tom Aerts.
He was a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and coach as well as a mentor and so much more to the thousands of kids he brought smiles to in the halls of Wrightstown Schools.
Russ is further survived by his father, Bud Bowers and brothers and sisters: Keith (Judy) Bowers, Sue (Gary) Brochtrup, Carol (Dennis) Van Rossum, Jim (Shelia) Bowers, Alan (Laurie) Bowers, Mike (Laurie) Bowers, Mary (Rick) Vanden Wymelenberg, Ken (Judy Lynn) Bowers, Amy (Tony) Francis, Nancy (Mike) Francis, Jeff (Stephanie) Bowers as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
