Ronald T. Buechler, 80, Wrightstown, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 21, 1933 in Wrightstown, son of the late Theodore and Mary (Drace) Buechler. He graduated from Wrightstown High School, and served his country in the United States Army. Ron married Donna Doherty on May 30, 1959 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in De Pere. He worked at Fort Howard for 38 years, retiring in 1994. He was a Wrightstown volunteer firefighter, and he enjoyed softball, golf and bowling with his wife, Donna. He loved going up the wonderful “Buechler” cabin, hunting, fishing and playing cards with friends and family. Ron enjoyed his trips to Canada fishing with friends the past 20 years. He was a devoted, loving father and grandfather. Ron never missed an event for his kids or grandkids and loved being a part of their lives. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Donna; eight children: Mark (Tina) Buechler, New Jersey, Chris (Mark) Wall, Lynn (Steve) Smits, Dan (Lynn) Buechler, Mike (Becky) Buechler, Patrick (fiancée-Carrie) Buechler, Rick (Jourdan) Buechler, Lisa (Aaron) Grahek; sixteen grandchildren: Lindsay, Keegan, Ethan, and Gary Wall; Tera Diedrick and Lance Klug, Jenna and Mitchell Lemke, Brett, Brandon and Brielle Buechler, Grace and Michaela Buechler, Emily Buechler, Audrey Deyo-Buechler, and Sophia Buechler; three great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Pienta, Ella and Ty VanZeeland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ken Buechler and sister, Eunice Verbeten. Family and friends may call Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul site, Wrightstown, where a parish prayer service will conclude the visitation. Visitation will continue on Monday at church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Carl Meulemans officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown.
