Ronald G. Morris

Ronald G. Morris, 84, formerly of Mishicot, passed away June 14, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. The son of Edwin and Arnes (Blacker) Morris and step-mother Hildegard Morris, was born January 14, 1930 in Illinois. Ron was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1948. He married the former Susan Culver in 1954 and she preceded him in death July 3, 2002. After Ron retired from Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant, he and Sue moved to Harlingen, Texas. When Sue passed away in 2002, Ron moved back to Wisconsin. Surviving are his loving brother Russell (Shirley) Morris of Escondido, California; three children Michelle (Jim) Trochil of Mishicot, Michael G. (Barb) Morris of Mishicot and Martha Peters of Green Bay; six grandchildren: Andrea (Jeff) Novak, Kristie (Kirk) Shillcox, Justin Morris, Sarah Thornton, Shawn Peters and Phillip (Chelsea) Rosinsky; six great-grandchildren: Samantha, Bryce, Brandon, Brooklynn, Savannah and Isabelle; three great-great-grandchild; Lowick, Payton and Jaxson. Our family would like to thank Ron’s special friend, Marilyn Denissen for all of her love and companionship over the last 8 years. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
