Roger married Margie Hempel in Green Bay on June 26, 1976. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Billie Lee, and Chelsea. His love and support will always be in their hearts. In the later years of his life, Roger embraced the role of a proud Papa to his adored grandson Payton, creating a bond filled with joy and love. Almost daily, he showered Payton with affection, leaving a profound influence on his grandson's life. The memories they shared and the love they held for each other will forever be treasured and etched in Payton's heart.

Roger was a dedicated preservationist and visionary builder. He brought his visions to life by creating remarkable homes and projects which will leave a lasting impact.

Roger was an avid skier and very active throughout his life. He had a special love for Heritage Hill and was a longtime volunteer. Wheeler Lake, in Lakewood, WI, was special to Roger, fostering fond memories. He enjoyed listening to music and being with his family.

Roger's family deeply mourns his passing.
