Roger N. Just, 74, De Pere, passed away at home on Thursday, June 30, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 5, 1936 in De Pere, son of the late Harold and Sadie (Dreier) Just. On November 18, 1961, Roger married Carol Treichel at Zion Lutheran Church in Morrison. He was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Wrightstown. Roger farmed most of his life, and even after retirement he enjoyed helping his boys in the fields. He loved spending time with his family passing on the tradition of playing sheepshead, to his children and grandchildren. He also spent his weekends at the cottage fishing off the dock, which was his favorite pastime. Surviving are his wife, Carol; 7 children: Sue (Greg) Verhagen, Wrightstown; Chris (Tim) Trudell, De Pere; Jeff (Kathie) Just, De Pere; Brenda (Ron “Butch”) Van Schyndel, Kaukauna; Rod (Tami) Just, De Pere; Tim (Missy) Just; De Pere; and Rebecca (Al) Lemke, La Quinta, CA; 19 grandchildren: Jeremy, Eric (fiancé Amanda Mueller), and Chelsea Verhagen; Shannon and Chad Trudell; Zachrich and Peyton Just; Nicholas, Matthew, Jonathon, and Jacob Van Schyndel; Keith, Tyler, and Brandon Just; Robyn, Jolene, and Alex Just; and Shane and Amanda Lemke; and a great granddaughter, Karlee Verhagen. Roger is also survived by 2 sisters: Charlotte Schwantes and Marlene (Daniel) Milbach; a brother, David Just; brother-in-law, Gene Blobaum; father-in-law, Ernest Treichel; sisters-in-law: Beatrice (Roy) Ambrosious, Sandra (Roger) Hagenow, and Linda (William) Kolarik; and brother-in-law, Michael (Jane) Treichel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Sadie Just; sister, JoAnn Blobaum; brother-in-law, Harold Schwantes; granddaughter, Tiffany Van Schyndel; godson, Leon Treichel; mother-in-law, Helen Treichel; and brother-in-law, Larry Treichel. Friends may call at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 437 Turner Street, Wrightstown, on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, from 3:00 pm until 5:45 pm. The funeral service will be conducted at the church on Tuesday at 6:00 pm with Rev. Matthew T. Vik officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
