Robert W. Erdmann, 83, Town of Lawrence, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at a local hospital. He was born December 17, 1929 on the family farm in the Town of Lawrence, son of the late Gustav and Emma (Kersten) Erdmann. Robert farmed all his life on the family farm. He was a lifelong member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Wrightstown. He enjoyed dartball, cribbage, poker, and playing the slots at the casino. Survivors include his two brothers, Clarence and Emmet; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Erdmann and Mildred Erdmann; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, especially Tom and Deb Erdmann and William and Thomas Erdmann, who are fourth generation farmers on the Erdmann farm, carrying on the proud family legacy. He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 sisters and 8 brothers: Esther, Anna, Ella, Edna, Mildred, Marie, Elmer, Henry, Edward, Lawrence, Howard, Norbert, Melvin and Sherman. Family and friends may call Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Wrightstown, with the Rev. Matthew Vik officiating.
