Robert M. “Bob” Wiese, age 67, of Wrightstown, passed away unexpectedly January 1, 2015 from natural causes. He was born August 1, 1947 in Green Bay, son of the late Wilfred and Mary (Kulhanek) Wiese. He graduated from De Pere High School and went on to work with his family at the Fox Valley Alfalfa Mill. He married Sherry Erdmann on September 20, 1991. Bob loved to travel, as well as spending time with his children and grandchildren (who called him “papa”), fishing, going up north, and being the “straw boss” at work. In addition to being a lover of animals, he was an avid dancer, having been a member of the Arthur Murray Dancers and Green Apple Dancers. Survivors include his wife, Sherry; daughters: Bobbi (Brett) Schaetz and their daughter Brynlie, Christine, and Catherine; Bobbi (Jon) De France and their children Katelyn, Brady and Sophia, Angela Pfeiffer and her daughter Aylia, and Crystal (Mike) Theunis and their children Jaxon, Mariah and Chloe; Brothers and sisters: Diane (Paul) Baenen, Russ (Linda), Ken (Gloria), Sharon (Bill) Turriff, Jim (Joan), Carole (Gil) Salm, Mary (Norbert) Zitzelsberger, Roger (Sheryl), David (Joyce), and Mark (Cathy). He is further survived by: his mother-in-law, Donna Erdmann, brother-in-law: Randy (Terri) Erdmann and a sister-in-law: Cindy Erdmann; nieces, nephews, other family and his grand-dog and best buddy: Roxi. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Matthew Marvin Wiese; brothers, Paul, Daniel and Richard. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere, on Thursday, January 8, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. A prayer service will be held at 7:00pm Thursday evening. Visitation will continue on Friday at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida St, Green Bay, from 11:00am until 12:45pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, with the Rev. John H. Harper officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Officer John Stokes, the staff of the Hilton Garden Inn and Chaplain Ralph Thompson who assisted the family in North Carolina during this difficult time.
