Robert "Bob" Van Der Wegen

Robert “Bob” Van Der Wegen, Jr. 81, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021. Bob, the son of the late Robert “Bob” Van Der Wegen, Sr. was born on September 28, 1939.  He married Joyce on October 18, 1986. Bob worked with Van Der Wegen and Son Construction the first part of his career. The last part of his career he worked at Brillion Iron Works until his retirement.Bob enjoyed being with his family.  He also spent a lot of time outdoors fishing, hunting and being at his cabin.
Bob is survived by his six children:  Rick (Sharon) Van Der Wegen of De Pere, Annette Van Der Wegen of Green Bay, Kari Van Der Wegen of Algoma, Kelly (Kevin) Zipperer of Bellevue, Randy Van Der Wegen and friend Bridget of Florence, David Van Der Wegen of Green Bay; 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson; Brothers: Larry (Harriet) and Lenny; sister Denise Schneider, Brother-in-law Jim Kempinger, and many nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce, son Roger, daughter Kathy, his parents Robert and Alice, sisters Nancy and Diane and sister-in-law, Margie.
Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral & Cremation Care, 860 N Webster Ave, De Pere, on Saturday, April 17, from 9:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm with Fr. Mike Ingold officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
