Robert "Bob" Aschenbrenner

Robert Aschenbrenner, age 91, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 of natural causes. He was born on October 24, 1928 in De Pere to the late Anton and Albertina (Leiterman) Aschenbrenner. He graduated from East De Pere High School, class of 1946. On September 2, 1952 he married Jeanette Bielinski at All Saints Catholic Church, in Denmark. Bob was a farmer for his entire life, he also worked at Georgia Pacific East Paper Mill, and during his 30 years there, he was known as “Farmer”. After retiring from the mill, for 18 years, he worked at the Fleet Farm car wash, where he was known as “Car Wash Bob”. He will be missed by many. Besides his love of farming he also loved to play cards, going out to eat, just taking a drive, getting together with family and gabbing.
Surviving Bob are, his wife, Jeanette, children; Gary (Mary) Aschenbrenner, Rita (Craig) Gagnon, Judy (Jim) Albers, Doris (Bob) Bethke, Kevin (Lisa) Aschenbrenner, son in law, Jeff (Katie) Pischke Bob will also be missed by his grandchildren: Jeremy (Late finance' - Stephanie), Tina (Mike) Olm, Tim (Amy) Gagnon, Kurt (Annie) Albers, Alissa (special friend Lucas) Bethke, Matthew (special friend Brooke) Bethke, Jenah (special friend Bob) Aschenbrenner, Cody (special friend Jacolyn) Aschenbrenner, Molly (special friend Quentin) Aschenbrenner, Kaitlyn Aschenbrenner, Hailey Aschenbrenner, Logan Aschenbrenner, Steve (special friend Crystal) Pischke, Alex (special friend Cassidy) Pischke. Great Grandchildren: Cassie (special friend Brandon) Aschenbrenner, Tyler Aschenbrenner, Elliott Olm, Esther and Evelyn Gagnon, Amelia Albers, Lucas Pischke. He is further survived by his sister in law, Carol Skaleski and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Lynn Pischke, brothers and sisters in law; Rufus (Millie), Harvey (Mary Pat) and Jerome. Sisters in law and brothers in law; Virginia (Alvin) Leiterman, Mary Lou (Eugene) Cookle, Bob Schumacher, and Junior Skaleski.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, May 29, 2020 from 3-7pm at Cotter Funeral Home, Denmark Chapel, 536 Cty Rd R, Denmark. DUE TO THE COVID-19 CONCERNS,THE FAMILY OF BOB RESPECTFULLY ASKS ALL ATTENDING AT THE FUNERAL HOME PLEASE BRING AND WEAR A MASK BEFORE ENTERING THE BUILDING AND MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING AT ALL TIMES. A Funeral Mass will be held privately for the family.
