Richard "Rick" Cornelissen

Richard Charles “Rick” Cornelissen, age 62, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at his home. The son of Harry M. Cornelissen and Janet R. (Mulloy) Cornelissen was born September 18, 1952 in Green Bay. He attended St. Mary Grade School and Abbot Pennings High School. Rick worked for Cornelissen Oil Co., several area car dealerships and later Seroogy’s Candies. In addition to golf, he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere. Survivors include his mother Janet; brother Dale (Mary Kay) Cornelissen; sister Jeanne (Terry) Kabat; nephews: Terry (Cori), Jon (Allison) and Ross (Karen) Cornelissen; his goddaughter and niece, Kelly (Lee) Mierow and other nieces: Krista (Jeff) Kinziger and Karmen (Brian) Wall, as well as many great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Cornelissen. Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, on Friday, June 5, from noon until the hour of Mass at 2:00pm with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
