Richard "Dick" Selner

Richard “Dick” Selner, 74, of Denmark, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Dick was born May 16, 1948, to the late Louis and Mary (Jisa) Selner in Green Bay. On June 10, 1972, he married the love of his life, Elizabeth Schweiner. This union of fifty years blessed them with two children, Troy and Tracey.

Dick was a lifelong farmer and avid hunter. He enjoyed his Sunday truck rides to C-Mart to get a newspaper followed by watching Polka, Polka, Polka. He liked watching the Denmark High School football games on Friday nights almost as much as he liked watching good old Westerns on TV.

Dick was a hard worker, a devoted husband, and a loving father. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” Selner; his children Troy (Kari) Selner of Newport, TN and Tracey (Robert) Juneau of Denmark; his grandchildren: Dylan Horch, Paige Selner, and Tyler Juneau, all of Denmark; his siblings: Joan (James) Kozlovsky of Denmark and James (Suzy) Selner of Green Bay; and his sister-in-law, Kathryn Selner of Utah.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Robert and Francis Selner.

A private family service will be held to celebrate his life.
