Randy S. Peterson

Randy S. Peterson, age 46, of Gillett, passed away April 20, 2015. He was born September 10, 1968 in Green Bay, son to Lloyd and Kathy Halstead. Randy was an over the road truck driver, owning his own company (RSP) for many years. Although he was a hard worker, Randy enjoyed taking time to fish, be outdoors, work on his yard and vehicles, grill steak and potatoes, and ride Harley’s. He even shopped for his grandkids presents on his own. Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Peterson (Alex LeRoy) and grandchildren Ella, Zander and Sawyer; his mother Kathy Halstead, brother Joe (Mary) Peterson, aunts and uncles: Debra Anderson, Carol (Robert) Reimer and Sherry (Steve) Donovan; nieces and nephews: Izana and Josh Watruba, Samantha and Jason Kubis, Justin Clabots and Max Peterson, and his birth father, Roger Peterson. He is further survived by a very special friend Linda Berg and his fishing buddy Tim Haferbecker, and will be missed by his friends in Gillett, Texas and all over. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Halstead, grandmothers Lyla Mango and Alice Halstead, as well as an uncle Terry Anderson. Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere, on Friday, April 24, from 10:00am until the time of service at noon with Randy’s uncle, Steve Donovan officiating. Interment in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
