Ralph “Moe” Runnoe, age 86, of Wrightstown, passed away at home on January 25, 2016 with his family by his side. The son of the late Herbert and Ellen (Sullivan) Runnoe was born September 11, 1929 in Wayside. He graduated from Wrightstown High School and worked at the Combined Locks Paper Mill for 43 years. Ralph served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and later married Joanne Brick on May 2, 1953. He and Joanne were members of St. Clare Parish. Survivors include his children: Mary Jo Runnoe, Thomas Runnoe, John and Julie Runnoe, Terese and Sean Rohan, Rose Ann Conard, Kay Runnoe, Herb and Melinda Runnoe and Karen Oftedahl; grandchildren: Zac Conard, Ashley and Junior Fotso, Liam Rohan, Conner Rohan, Riley Runnoe, Emma Runnoe, Sean Runnoe, Olivia Oftedahl, Daniel Oftedahl, Collin Runnoe and Oliver Runnoe; great-grandchildren Morghan Dufresne and Sorriah Fotso; siblings: Roland Runnoe, Donna and Robert Devine, Arleen and Gary Schreiber, Vonnie and Ray Buchberger and sister-in-law: Carol Runnoe; Joanne’s siblings: Eugene and Helen Brick, Bob and Karen Brick, Kay Fisher, Peg and Bill Balzer. In addition to his parents and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Thomas and Margaret Brick, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother and sisters: Glenn Runnoe, Lois and Glen Grahl, Pat and Frank Biasone, sister-in-law Jane Runnoe, son-in-law Tom Conard, brothers-in-law: Terry and Lorraine Brick and Fr. Paul Brick. Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, on Thursday, January 28, from 4-7pm with a prayer service at 6:30pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, at the church, from 9:30am until 10:45am. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00am with Rev. Carl Meulemans and Msgr. John Schuh concelebrating. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory of Wrightstown is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for St. Clare Catholic School. Our family would like to extend our sincere thanks to ThedaCare at Home Hospice, especially Paige, R.N. and Julie, Home Health Aide, for their outstanding care and concern. We would also like to thank the many wonderful neighbors that we have come to know over the last 57 years. Finally, a warm thank you to his special cribbage partner and dear friend, Bud Bowers.
