Perry J. Treichel

Perry J. Treichel, 44, passed away on Tuesday May 24, 2022 after a tragic tractor accident.

He was born on July 28, 1977 to Herold and Patricia (Denor) Treichel. He graduated from De Pere High School with the class of 1996. Perry worked several years at Brillion Iron Works, then CA Lawton in De Pere, and then on to Pro Ampac in Wrightstown.

Perry's day was filled with happiness if he could be settled in on the seat of a tractor, helping out the local farmer working in the fields and out in the fresh air and clear blue sky. He also spent much of his summer going to Brewer games which he enjoyed just as much as being on a farm.

He loved playing Sheepshead with anyone that would care to join him. He had a special place in his heart for the Loppnow & Beyer families who spent so much time with Perry doing all of his favorite things.

Survivors include: his mother Patricia Treichel; brother Todd (Amy) Treichel; his sister Deanna (David) Kosky; one nephew Jacob, and five nieces, Alison (Grant), Anna, Elise, Alaina and Samantha. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, & cousins who he enjoyed so many family and holiday gatherings with. He especially loved his two cats, Gary and Carl, who brought him joy and happiness every day.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother Jesse (2014) and his father Herold (2016).

Friends and family may call from 3:00pm to 6:45pm on Tuesday May 31, at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave, De Pere, WI 54115. Prayer service will be at 7:00pm.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the amazing & caring trauma staff at St. Vincent Hospital who worked tirelessly for hours trying to save Perry. We also are so grateful for Chaplin Pat who sat with us the entire time giving us care and comfort in her very special way. Perry was given 32 units of blood during life saving efforts, we ask that you consider giving a blood donation in honor of Perry's memory if you are able. No flowers please.
