Pearl Irene Dahlke, went to rest with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 18, 2013, at age 86 at Bornemann Nursing Home. Pearl was born on November 10, 1927 to the late Clarence and Ella Miller. She married Roland Dahlke on September 12, 1953. Pearl and Roland operated the Dahlke family farm in the Town of New Denmark until their retirement in 1991. Pearl was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a long-time member of the Christ Lutheran Church Ladies Aid in Denmark. After retirement she worked at Natural Beauty greenhouse and enjoyed the many friendships she made there. Pearl enjoyed gardening, crocheting and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. Pearl is survived by her husband, Roland; sons, Dale (Rachel), Alan (Lori); daughter, Gloria (Chris) Mohr; seven grandchildren: Kimberly Kroll, Sarah (Jon) Armao, Amanda (Mike) Johnson, Nathan Dahlke, Jeffrey Dahlke, Ashley Mohr, and Emily Mohr; three great-grandchildren, Caden and Max Armao, and Olivia Johnson. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roy Miller; and sister-in-law, Ruth Miller. Family and friends may call Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church in Denmark, with the Rev. James D. Saatkamp officiating. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery. Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, Denmark, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
