Pearl Bittner

Pearl M. Bittner, age 88, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022. The daughter of the late Albert and Elsie (Spann) Zarnoth was born December 2, 1933, in Mill Center, WI. She graduated from East De Pere High School in 1951. On Sept 5, 1953, she married Wesley Bittner and together they shared 49 years of marriage before his passing. Pearl retired from Procter & Gamble in November 1995. Pearl loved working outside in her flower gardens and was well known for having her annual plant sale. She loved to travel all over the world, she found travel to be very educational. She was a hard worker and was always willing to help everyone. Her family enjoyed her famous peanut butter balls and mint cookies which she made every Christmas. She was extremely proud of her family and adored her five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Pearl is survived by one daughter, Joy (Ron) Frelich, Maribel. Five grandchildren, John (Brittney) Frelich, Matt (Annabelle) Frelich, Andy (Caley) Frelich, David (Lindsy) Frelich and Sarah (Josh) Shimanek; great grandchildren, Jaxson, Hailey, Connor, Meghan, Willa, Wren, Harper, Ava, Aislinn Frelich and Ella Shimanek; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her husband, Wesley, Pearl was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Elsie Zarnoth; parents-in-law Antone and Olga Bittner; five brothers, Leo, Irvin, Floyd, Norman, and Carry Zarnoth; four sisters, Adella Schroeder, Lilly Herwald, Ruby Roskom and Alice Wegner. Wesley's siblings Lawrence Bittner, Laverne Schott and Elaine Wanie.

Visitation will be Monday January 31, 2022, from 3pm – 5:45pm with a prayer service at 5:45pm with Pastor Dave Ruddat at Cotter Funeral Home in Denmark, WI. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Pearl.

With hard working hands at rest, Pearl will be privately entombed in the Shrine of the Good Shepard beside her beloved husband Wesley.
