Paul P. Laskowski, age 89, Town of Franklin, Kewaunee County, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018. The son of the late Stanley and Margaret (Roidt) Laskowski was born May 9, 1929. He attended Bolt school through the 8th grade, and married Marie Fellner on June 7, 1958 in Sturgeon Bay. Paul served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a long-time member of the Denmark VFW Post 6705. He farmed his whole life, in addition to working for Dufeck Manufacturing and Mirro Aluminum. Paul enjoyed tractor pulls, many of which he won, as well as logging, fishing, hunting and listening to polka music. He was a long-time member of St. Therese Parish- St. Lawrence Site in Stangelville.
Survivors include his two daughters: Janice (Greg) Rich of Denmark and Susan (Pat Delaney) Laskowski of Oconto Falls; two grand-daughters: Autumn (Ryan) Olson and Abigail Rich; two great-grandchildren: Ryder and Aubrey Olson; as well as other relatives and friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, parents Stanley and Margaret Laskowski, two brothers: Victor and Nicholas and his step-mother Evelyn.
Family and friends may visit at St. Therese Parish-St. Lawrence Site, N2085 Cty AB, Denmark, on Monday, July 16, from 4-7pm with a parish prayer service to conclude the evening at 7pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, at the church, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Bill O’Brien officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Cotter Funeral Home of Denmark is assisting the family.
