Paul Heezen

Paul L. Heezen “Nubs,” age 59, of Denmark, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at a local hospital. The son of Robert Sr. and Betty Heezen was born November 25, 1958 in Green Bay. After graduating from Denmark High School he farmed most of his life, and enjoyed taking care of animals. Paul loved to visit, and could have a conversation with anyone. He also enjoyed playing cards. His faith was important to him, and he was an active member of St. James Catholic Church in Cooperstown.

Survivors include his brother, Bob Heezen Jr.; nephew Brian Heezen; aunt Dorothy Heezen; as well as numerous cousins and other family members.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Betty; sister Barbara; aunts and uncles: Catherine Van Den Bergh, Lambert Heezen, Andrew Heezen, Peter Heezen, John Heezen, Sr. Lambert Heezen, Hilbert Heezen, Helen Vande Hei and Henry Heezen.

Family and friends may visit at St. James Catholic Church-Cooperstown, 18228 Cty Rd R, Denmark, on Wednesday, April 4, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery-Pine Grove. Cotter Funeral Home of Denmark is assisting the family.
