Patricia "Pat" Strenski

Patricia “Pat” (Cronce) Strenski, 86, Allouez, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015. She was born August 28, 1928 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Otto M. and Anna (Michalek) Cronce. Pat graduated from Green Bay East High School, and married Raymond B. Strenski on July 7, 1951 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Green Bay. Pat was a charter member of Resurrection Parish in Allouez, where she served on the Parish Council from 1977 to 1979. She also was instrumental in organizing the Resurrection Elementary School library from 1965-1972. She enjoyed baking, sewing, traveling—especially to Ray’s Army reunions. She was also involved at Abbot Pennings High School, St. Joe’s Academy and the Music Theater at St. Norbert College with theatre costuming. Pat also enjoyed playing in several bridge clubs and volunteered at the Red Cross blood bank for over 20 years. Survivors include her loving husband of almost 64 years, Raymond B. Strenski, Allouez; children: Michael and Margaret, De Pere, Daniel and Julie, Suamico, Robert, Chillicothe, OH, and Anne, Allouez; grandchildren: Ben, Karen (Justin) Sasser, Christie (Eric) Baranczyk, Danielle (Brandon) Peterson, Emily, Allie, and Jacob; step grandchildren, Sandra Boyer and Troy Olsen; great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Hannah, Chloe, Kaden, Dontrell, Justin, Scarlett and Dawson; and brother-in-law, Frank Girard, Sherborn, MA. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Jacqueline (Jackie) Cronce Girard. Family and friends may visit Resurrection Catholic Church, 333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez, on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Robert Morneau officiating.
