Patricia "Pat" Schleis

Patricia A. Schleis, 81, Denmark, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014. She was born May 9, 1933 in Green Bay to the late Alfred and Ella (Hanson) Jorgensen. Pat married Jim Schleis on June 12, 1953 in Denmark. She retired after 40+ years as a bookkeeper and enjoyed spending time camping and traveling with Jim. Survivors include her children, Lori (Bradley Steen) Schleis, Lynn (Russell) Hermsen, Lance Schleis, Leslie (Scott) Gilbertson; nine grandchildren, Lucas, Zachary, Lucy, Alexander, Sam, Abby, Jason, Joshua, Nathan; nine great-grandchildren, Dominic, Reaunna, Gabby, Sophia, McKenna, Jayen, Orion, JJ, Angelina; a brother, Donald (Llana) Jorgensen; sisters-in-law, Arnell Jorgensen, Bonnie (Kenneth) Prybelski, Helen (Roger) Shavlik, and Mrs. Claude (Joan) Schleis; other relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; her parents; a brother, Alan Jorgensen and a brother-in-law, Claude Schleis. Family and friends may visit on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 435 Wisconsin Ave., Denmark from 9:00a.m. to 10:45a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. at the church with Rev. Andrew Zoerb officiating. Interment in West Danish Cemetery. Cotter Funeral Home, Denmark, is assisting the family with arrangements.
