Omer F. Vander Bloomen

Omer F. Vander Bloomen, 90, De Pere, passed away Tuesday morning, November 16, 2021. The son of Omer W. and Geneva G. (Van Vonderen) Vander Bloomen was born in Green Bay November 19,1930.

Omer served his country in the Navy Reserve and the United States Army during the Korean War.  He worked and retired from the Green Bay Correctional Institution.  Omer was a longtime member of the Ashwaubenon V.F.W. and was a member and past commander of the American Legion.

Private family services were held at Mount Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.

Omer’s family extends a special thank you to the Unity Hospice for all their care and concern.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations can be made in Omer’s name to the Disabled American Veterans, 1253 Scheuring Road, Suite A, De Pere, WI 54115 would be appreciated.
