Norman (Pops) VanderKelen, age 84, of Denmark, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, in the care of his daughter Debbie. The son of Norbert and Mabel (Nelson) VanderKelen was born April 12, 1937. On June 2, 1962 he married Janice Schmit at St. Pat’s Parish in Green Bay and celebrated 49 wonderful years before she passed away in 2011. Even after retirement, he still enjoyed working on the hobby farm and you would always find him in his flannel shirts and long underwear 364 days a year. When he wasn’t helping on the farm, he enjoyed bus trips to the casino and other vacations with family.
