Norman John Knuth, III, (Butch), 52, of Maribel, WI, went to heaven on March 21, 2015. Butch was born on August 29, 1962 to Norman and Audrey (Stolzman) Knuth, Jr. Butch attended grade school at St. John’s Lutheran Grade School. He graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School in 1980. Butch was in partnership with his father, Norman Knuth, Jr. on the family farm. He worked at Duescher Farms and also drove truck for Schultz Trucking. Butch loved his family, farming, collecting antique John Deere Tractors and photography. Two of his photographs of his John Deere tractors were featured on the covers of Fastline Tractor magazines. Another passion of Butch’s was his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He enjoyed trips all over the United States with his father and many friends. Butch is survived by his parents, Norman and Audrey Knuth; sisters, Sheri (Dennis) Kittell, Robin (Steve) Shimanek; nieces, Samantha (Nick) Roth, Brooke Kittell, Brittany Shimanek (fiancée Adam Brouchoud, Lily and Hailey) and nephew, Josh Shimanek (fiancée Sarah Frelich). Butch was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and Alma Knuth, John and Milda Stolzman, aunts, uncles, and friends Merle and JD. Family and friends may call at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Road R, Denmark from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015. Visitation will continue on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 14311 S Maribel Road, Maribel, WI from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Many sayings of Butch’s will remind of us him, two of them being-“Herd of cows, we herd of cows, we’re farmers” and “If you have a full tank of gas and you don’t care, you’re not lost”.
