Myrna Rita (Pierquet) Pasterski

Myrna (Pierquet) Pasterski, 81, De Pere, was born to eternal life on July 27, 2016. The daughter of the late Antone and Laura Pierquet was born on December 2, 1934 in Green Bay. Myrna graduated from St. Joseph Academy and later married Robert Pasterski on November 10, 1956 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic church in Green Bay. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ledgeview. Myrna was a devoted homemaker prior to joining the staff at St. Norbert Abbey. She was an active member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Myrna was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a compassionate, caring person. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Myrna loved to read and play cards. She spoiled her family with her delicious hickory nut pies. Survivors include her husband Robert; children: Daniel (Paula), Kevin (Susan), John (Jo Ann) and Michael; grandchildren: Julie (Brent), Allisa (Adam), Isaiah (fiancé Brianna), Jesse, Grace, Jeremy, Luke and Ben; 6 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is further survived by her brother “Mose”, sisters: Shirley (Jim), Katie and Loreen (Larry). In addition to her parents, Myrna was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Cy (Betty), Bernice (Fred), Rita (Wally), LeRoy, Marvin (Jeanette), Cletus (Helen), Clayton (Aggie), Clem (Lucille), Tony (Delores), Deloris (Ray) and Quintin (Marion), Brother-in-law, Irv. Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 9:00am until 10:45am. The Mass of Christian Burial for Myrna will be celebrated at 11:00am with Rev. Binu Varghese, O.Praem officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Unit 3.
