Michael "Mike" Quinette

Michael J. Quinette, 53, Suamico, formerly of De Pere, passed away unexpectedly while vacationing in Mexico on April 2, 2011. Mike was born in Green Bay on March 26, 1958 to James and Carol (Kramer) Quinette. On August 30, 1985, he married Laura Ambrosius at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere. He was a fun-loving, free spirit whose passion was golf and also fishing and skiing. He enjoyed being a “handyman”, fixing and building projects and also loved to work in his yard. Mike was a wonderful husband and father who loved his family with all his heart. Mike especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mike is survived by his wife, Laura; daughter, Courtney, her significant other, Sam Gerges; his parents, Jim and Carol Quinette; brothers and sister, Steve and Chris Quinette; Cathy and Jim Jordan; Pat and Sue Quinette. Laura’s parents, Marlin and Marilyn Ambrosius; her siblings, Jean Patterson; Jeff and Cathy Ambrosius; Karen and Scott Tate; Lisa and Gary Podraza; Amy and Jerry Lancelle; many nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends. Family and friends may call from 4-6:45 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Community, Pope John the XXIII Circle, off Sportsman Drive, Town of Ledgeview. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 7 p.m., on Friday at the church with Rev. John H. Harper officiating, and Deacon Michael Vander Bloomen assisting.
