March 6, 1956 — June 17, 2016

Michael Jon MacMurray, Mac, passed away June 17, 2016, he was 60 years old. Born March 6, 1956, in Shawano, Wis. He had much more to do. He always started his day early and had the next day planned. He did as much while he could. Mac graduated from Shawano High School in 1974, and studied auto mechanics at NWTI. Ultimately to pursue his true calling as a sign painter. His talent in quality hand lettering prompted him to start his own business, Signs by Mac. He mapped out a life that led him to enjoy the good times; fishing, camping, nature, gardening, photography, cooking, vinyl records, crosswords. He always enjoyed a good chat. He was the proud Grandpa, and loved watching his new grandson grow. His smile got bigger every time he saw him, and he was truly excited to share his joy with all. A sign by Mac turned up this week, written,“7-25-1986, If I fail I choose to fall in flight rather than drown in the dust of my fears”. His days were lively and surrounded by all things he loved and is at his peace.
