Michael John Hoff

Michael John Hoff, 65, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 4, 2015. He was born in Milwaukee on July 14, 1949 to the late Arthur and Patricia (Hartnett) Hoff. He attended St. Bernard Grade School and graduated from Francis Jordan High School in Milwaukee. Mike was a graduate of UW Whitewater. On May 27, 1972 he married Roberta “Bobbi” Reisch at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Brookfield, WI. Mike retired from Russell Metals in 2014, where he was in steel sales for 38 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Ledgeview, where he was a Eucharistic Minister. Mike was an active member of the Cursillo Movement of the Diocese of Green Bay. Mike loved his family and grandchildren, and he enjoyed landscaping, traveling, reading newspapers (2 every day), Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Marquette Golden Eagles basketball, and slow-pitch softball. Survivors include his wife, Roberta “Bobbi” (Reisch) Hoff; his children: Courtney (Chad) Propst, Aurora, CO, and their children: Katelyn Grace, Laurel Faith, and Mallie Hope; David (Libby) Hoff, De Pere, and their daughter, Amelia Adisen; and Christopher Hoff, Green Bay; his brother, Robert P. (Jean) Hoff, Milwaukee; father-in-law, Edward L. Reisch, St. Louis, MO; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Edward L. (Mary Lou) Reisch, Jr., Madison, WI; James S. (Janice) Reisch, Honolulu, HI; Mary M. (Bill) Becker, Bloomington, MN; Kathryn A. Reisch, Hartland, WI; George (Kathy) Reisch, Wildwood, MO; Joanne (Ed) Baes, Holland, MI; John M. Reisch, St. Louis, MO, Brother Joseph Reisch, Ava, MO, and Jennifer S. Reisch, Springfield, MO; and his beloved dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, David Hoff; and mother-in-law, Roberta H. Reisch. Family and friends may visit Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., where there will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Road, Ledgeview, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating, Fr. Willie Van De Loo, Homilist. PLEASE NOTE ROAD CLOSURES TO ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH. FOLLOW DETOUR SIGNS.
