Maynard J. Van Leishout

Maynard J. “Fritz” Van Leishout, age 66, of Denmark, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 16, 1952 in Green Bay to the late Joseph and Ethel (Engledinger) Van Leishout. Fritz enjoyed hunting, racing, tractor pulls, going to Shanty Days and County Fairs.
He is survived by his brother, William (Mary) Van Leishout, nephews J.R. and Mike Van Leishout and a great nephew, William Robert. He is further survived by step brother, Vince (Judy) Bradley, step sister, Veronica Vertz, step sister in law, Mary Lou Bradley a special niece, Tracey Bradley as well as other relatives and friends. He is survived by many special friends; Dick and Darlene Jandrin, Carrie and Jerry Brice and their daughters; Dakota, Morgan and Alexandria, and Wanda Strouf and her daughter, Destanie, also the residents of Scandinavia House.
Preceding him in death are his parents, step brother, Clem Bradley and step brother in law, Roger Vertz.
Services for Maynard will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00am at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd R, Denmark. Friends and family may call at the funeral home starting at 8:30am until the time of service. Burial will take place in St. James Cemetery, Cooperstown.
