Mary Margaret Tordeur, 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at her home in Green Bay, WI. Mary was born on April 13, 1947 in Green Bay, WI, the daughter of the late Sylvester and Theodora (Ebben) Cavil. Mary thoroughly enjoyed her family, traveling (especially to South Dakota) and sharing her love of flowers. Mary always celebrated life, loved to socialize and loved to share photos of the blessings of her children and grandchildren. In 1968, Mary married the love of her life, Roy R. Tordeur and together raised four children. In November 2014, Roy and Mary celebrated 46 years of married life together. Mary is survived by her husband, Roy; son Steve; daughter Wendy Burkart; son Scott (Shallyn); daughter Julie (John) Rockwell; grandchildren Katelynn (13), Estella (5), Lucy (3 ½), Matilda (3), Mary (2 ½), and Lucas (8months); her sister Sally (Donald) Hecker; brother James (Janice) Cavil and a special family member, Tristin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor. Family and friends may visit at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple Ave., Green Bay, from 10:30am until 12:15pm on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mary at 12:30pm with the Rev. Ryan Starks officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. A memorial fund is being established in Mary’s name.
