Mary L. (Zingler) Seering

May 30, 1944 — September 14, 2012

Mary L. (Zingler) Seering, age 68, Denmark, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012. She was an eight year survivor of breast cancer. Her strong faith and positive attitude provided an inspiration for her family and friends. She was born May 30, 1944, in Shawano, Wisconsin, to the late Marlin and Helen (Kohn) Zingler. She was a graduate from Shawano High School and was employed at the Shawano National Bank after graduation. In 1966 she married Kenneth G. Seering at St. James Lutheran Church, Shawano. They spent their 47 years of marriage living in Denmark. They were blessed with four children, Stacey, Steven, Connie and Daniel. Mary dearly enjoyed being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a special love for children, especially her grandchildren and the children she was able to care for while their mom’s and dad’s worked. She was the quiet force behind her husband and her love for family and friends shined through with her gentle smile and kindest ways. Mary loved playing sheep head with her dear card club friends and Red Hat card players. She enjoyed doing word searches, scrapbooking, baking everyone’s favorite cookies and always enjoyed breakfast buddies and very special friends Nancy and Mary Jo. Mary was a “Lifetime” member of the FFA Alumni and enjoyed friends she met through that tremendous organization especially Marie, Lori and Valerie. She also was a member of the Red Hat “Denmark Bells”. Felt blessed for neighbors, Rita , Donna and Marge plus other friends who touched her life. She was a faithful member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Denmark. Mary will be remembered most for her thoughtful and attentive ways plus the positive manner demonstrated daily while caring for those she loved. MY DEEPEST LOVE TO EACH OF YOU ALWAYS….NEVER FORGET THAT!!! Mary is survived by her loving husband Ken and precious children and amazing grandchildren; son Stacey (Shellie) Seering, Duluth, Minnesota, grandson’s Samuel and Asher; daughter Connie (Mitch) Van Oss, Denmark, grandchildren Courteney and Cole; son Daniel (Jennifer) Seering, Cato, grandson’s Evan and Aiden; brother Robert (Connie) Zingler, Green Bay; brother in law Glen (Letha) Seering, Crivitz; nieces and nephews.
