Mary Jane Keehan, 92, Denmark, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at a local nursing home. She was born April 28, 1922 in New Denmark, WI, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Kunesh) Herold. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Green Bay, and married Ralph Keehan on October 30, 1954. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1981. She enjoyed cooking and baking, gardening, was a Brewer and Packer fan, and loved being with her family. Mary Jane was a member of the Denmark VFW Auxiliary, and All Saints Catholic Church where she was active in the Altar Rosary Society. Survivors include her four children: Greg Keehan, Green Bay; Marie (Tony) Sell, De Pere; Bernie Keehan, Denmark; and Russell Keehan, Denmark; three grandchildren: Lucas (Kathy) VanderKinter, Denmark, Brian (Renee) VanderKinter, Green Bay, and Nick (Brittany) VanderKinter, Greenleaf; 8 great-grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Olivia, Reese, Blake, Colin, Alayna, Lexie, and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers and two sisters. Family and friends may call Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
