Mary Ann Malach

March 24, 1922 — August 30, 2021

Mary Ann Malach, age 99, of Denmark, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021. The daughter of the late Emil and Agnes Charney was born March 24, 1922 in Maribel. On March 20, 1943 she married Roland Malach in Georgia and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2005. Mary worked as a cook and baker at the Denmark High School. She loved to bake (Mary made a wonderful kringle), as well as crafting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, playing cards and Bingo. Mary was always happy to spend time with her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her children: Ronald Malach of Denmark, Judy (Ron) Niesing of De Pere; four grandchildren: Mike (Joan) Malach, Brenda (Bryan) Miller, Kelly (Michelle) Malach and Jeff Niesing; seven great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland; daughter-in-law Lola Malach; siblings: Victor (Evelyn) Charney and Vlasta McNellis; sister-in-law: Enid (Herbert) Schultz.
Family and friends may visit at All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark, on Thursday, September 2, from 9:30am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am with Fr. Xavier Amirtham, O.Praem officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum in Bay Settlement. Cotter Funeral and Cremation Care is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Mary’s honor to the De Pere Christian Outreach.
