Martha Jane Van Oss

Martha Van Oss, age 96, passed away Monday, January 30, 2023. The daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Baeten) Liebergen was born August 23, 1926, in the town of Holland.

She married Jerome Van Oss September 4, 1944, at St Paul’s Catholic Church in Wrightstown. The couple farmed in the Denmark area for over 40 years. Jerome passed away November 2, 2003, after 59 years of marriage.

She is survived by their children: Joseph and Suzanne Van Oss, Elizabeth Tymchuck, Susan and Gerard Rosek; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Connie Van Oss; a son-in-law, Don Tymchuck; and great granddaughter, Adeline Rasek; 5 sisters and two brothers.

Private funeral services will be held at Cotter Funeral Home Denmark Chapel. Entombment will be in the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
