Mark Verboomen died peacefully at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 with his family at his side. He was born November 10, 1970 in Green Bay to Carl and Linda (Moran) Verboomen. He graduated from Xavier High School in 1989 and attended Fox Valley Technical College. He was a machinist for Ariens Manufacturing and for the past 20 years was a machinist at Van Zeeland Manufacturing in Little Chute. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports on TV, especially Brewers Baseball and Wisconsin Badger Football, and spending time with his friends at his trailer in Elcho. He is survived by his mother, Linda, in Wrightstown; his sister, Paula and brother-in-law John Loew in Pewaukee; and his nephew Emmett Loew, also in Pewaukee. He is also survived by many cousins, friends, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl, his grandparents Mary and Andrew Verboomen and Edgar and Betty Moran as well as his God parents, Clarence and Roseanne Verboomen. Family and friends may visit at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St, Wrightstown, on Friday, November 17 from 3:00pm until the time of memorial service at 6:00pm with Deacon Ken Kabat officiating. Burial will be held at St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family would like to thank the emergency room physicians and nurses at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center for their compassionate care and concern for Mark. The family would also like to thank Mark’s co-workers who stayed with him during his final hours for their care and compassion.
