Mark S. Mattrisch, 36, Denmark, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 25, 2013. He was born July 19, 1977 in Marinette, WI, son of Raymond and Mary Ann (Podestat) Mattrisch. Mark graduated from Coleman High School in 1995 and from Fox Valley Tech with a degree in Natural Resources and Nicolet Tech in 2000, where he received his degree in Land Surveying. He married Kelli Sims on August 27, 2005 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield. Mark currently worked for Mau and Associates as a Registered Land Surveyor. He enjoyed Musky fishing, boating, hunting, and gardening, and he loved spending time with his boys. Mark was a member of the Registered Land Surveyors and was a proud stockholder of the Green Bay Packers. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Kelli; sons, Drew and Grant; parents, Raymond and Mary Ann Mattrisch; one sister, Sara (Jessie) Landree; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dr. E. Bruce and Donna Sims; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Amy and Tom DuFresne; Steve and Sue Kennitz; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John G. and Loretta Mattrisch; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Marcella Podestat; one uncle, Norman Mattrisch; and one aunt, Grace Mattrisch. Family and friends may call Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church in Denmark, with the Rev. Henry Yoap officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, Denmark, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com.
