Marion “Jane” Reeb, 74, De Pere, entered into eternal peace, free of her human suffering on Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at a local hospital, with her six children by her side. She was born January 29, 1937 in Sturgeon Bay, WI, daughter to the late Lawrence and Catherine (Blonde) Pfister. She married Donald Reeb on November 26, 1955. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, De Pere. Jane was a very devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; attending all her children’s and grandchildren’s sports and school activities. She loved flowers, watching sports, birds and animals, card playing, and Yahtzee. Survivors include her six children: Cathy (Jose) Reeb-Alba, Appleton; Cindy (Tom) Bittner, Chilton; Larry (Sandy) Reeb, De Pere; Terry (Douglas) Klabunde, Plainfield; Patty (Tim) Faust, Kiel; and Ron (Sue) Reeb, De Pere; sixteen grandchildren: Chris (Allison) Alba, Veronica (fiancé-Jeremy Blount) Alba, Danielle Alba, Andrew Alba, Tom Bittner, Nicole (Tony) Gates, Krystal (Carlos) Jones, Aaron Klabunde, Macy Klabunde, Ivy Klabunde, Taran Reeb-Slimmer, Kaylin (fiancé-Mark Wacha) Reeb, Madelyn Faust, Julian Faust, Noah Reeb and Natalie Reeb; great-grandchildren: Avery Alba, Blake Gates, Danika Gates, Kyra Jones, Dominic Johnson, and Kieya Hartigan; sister-in-law, Eileen Pfister, New Franken; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Donald; sisters: Lenore (Ralph) Hart and Ann (George) Rasmussen; brother, Norman Pfister; mother-in-law, Dottie Reeb; and her special pal, Pokey. Family and friends may call Friday, August 5, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday at church, with the Rev. Patrick Beno officiating.
