Marion H (Basch) Ertel

Marion Ertel, 98, Allouez, passed away on Wednesday, October 07, 2015. The daughter of the late William and Ida (Timm) Basch was born on September 10, 1917 in Stephensville. In 1940, she married Raymond Ertel, who preceded her in death in 1975. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy and St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse in surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital until her retirement. Marion loved to golf, work in her garden, and enjoyed the outdoors. She was also an avid Packers fan. Marion is survived by her son, Robert (Carolyn) Ertel, Green Bay; daughter-in-law, Marcie Ertel; two grandsons: Robert and Peter Ertel; niece Sherry Lewicki, and nephew, Jim Lewicki. In addition to her husband and parents, Marion was preceded in death by her son, Peter Ertel, and her brothers and sisters. Private family services were held.
