Marion F. Walch, 89, De Pere, passed away peacefully Monday, February 2, 2015 at home. The daughter of the late Charles M. and Leona (Dhooge) Hockers was born on March 26, 1925 in De Pere. She married Joseph Walch on June 1, 1946 at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. Joe preceded her in death on May 23, 2011. She was a life-long member of St Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Marion was an election poll worker for the City of De Pere and was honored by the city for her 40 years of service. She was also an Avon representative for 50 years. The job that meant the most to Marion was being the best mom to: John (Gurmit) Walch, Phoenix, Mary Jo Ward and her significant other Mike Babcock, Green Bay, Terry (Thomas) Hendricks, De Pere, daughters-in-law, Sandi Walch and Kristine Walch, both of De Pere; Grandchildren: Nicole (Mike) White, Janine Naze, Amilyn (Brian) Genz, Antone (Gokcin) Walch, Robbie Walch, David Walch, Eric (Rochelle) Van Den Heuvel, Bryan (Andrea) Van Den Heuvel, and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Further survived by a sister: Leora (Hockers) Feser, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; 2 sons, Michael and William. Family and friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere, on Friday, February 6, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of Mass at 4:00pm with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the Walch family with arrangements.
