Marilyn A. Detry

Marilyn A. Detry, age 87 of Wrightstown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born in Green Bay on May 6, 1936 to the late Alowen and Elizabeth (Hockstack) Williquette. On April 23, 1960 she married Roger Detry, who preceded her in death in 2019. Marilyn worked for several years as a seamstress. Tailoring men's suits at Montgomery Wards and Sears. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She also really enjoyed doing puzzles and adult coloring books. Marilyn loved cats and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda (Eric) Mitcham, granddaughter, Ciara (Casey) Hansen and great granddaughter, Lilia. Marilyn is further survived by her sister, Beverly Spoerl as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, Roger, son, Paul and grandson, Austin Jones. She is also preceded by her four sisters and two brothers.

The family would like to acknowledge her nurse, Jen from Heartland Hospice, her favorite CNA’s from Woodside Lutheran Home and especially her nurse Shannon from Optimum, for the wonderful care they all gave to Marilyn.
